This graphic is part of SONOS' updated identity design. As you scrolled up and down, waves seemingly "pulse" out from the center of the design.

Very cool effect...

That's pretty sweet. Hadn't seen that one before. Haven't seen much from Mau in a while.

Fun fact: we designed all of Sonos's hardware. My boss has been working with them since before they were Sonos. I haven't personally worked on any of it, though, as I've been leading up other projects.

and the Skylanders Trap Team portal:

The stuff I'm working on currently is super boring. Lots of rack-mount AV stuff.

I remember the camera well - beautiful work.

My son is hugely into Skylanders - ha! Such a racket...

funny thing was that I was completely unaware of skylanders when we got the project. Blown away to find out that it's a BILLION-PLUS dollar per year title. The character designer is a super talented and really nice guy.

The design is all really cool and clever. Has to be fun coming up with them all. The marketing is pretty brilliant, honestly, but as a parent who grew up playing video games, it's maddening. When I bought a game as a kid, I got THE WHOLE GAME. With this, you get a game that you can play though, hypothetically, but to really experience it, you have to pay more, at least as much as the original game, to get enough characters to see it all.

Thankfully, my wife bought the first game and few characters used, and the second once the price had dropped significantly...
